What is "Lost Freedom"?
It is a lineal visual novel that focus on a man and a old friend's daughter and three secondary characters that add their own stories.
Friend's daughter and main Plot
you play as a man who doesn't know that his friend had a daughter until her grandmother informs you of his paternity. This old lady wants the protagonist to take care of the girl, who is now a young adult about to be left alone when her grandmother dies.
The girl in question is pretty, intelligent, but with a strong character and somewhat spoiled... something that our protagonist doesn't like at all.
Faced with the protagonist's refusal to establish a bond with the girl, the grandmother devises a plan to force him to meet her and form a connection with her.
Despite getting to know her, our protagonist still has doubts about whether to take care of her or not. So he refuses to reveal his identity... but an unexpected move by the girl leaves our protagonist in checkmate...

the three secondary stories are well defined, each one with its own style and plot.
The new co-worker Plot
This girl is blonde, young and with light blue eyes. she's an "enemy" of the main girl. This leads to some scenes of jealousy and competition between them. She is also bisexual and she is interested in the mc's girlfriend too. She is always there to lend a hand in the main story if you follow her story correctly. Her story is totally related to the mc's girlfriend.
Will you let her into your relationship?
The boss's Plot
She is a mature and hot woman. The mc is competing with a male co-worker (with whom he gets along badly) who dates the female boss, this event is enabled by the male boss, he is the one who asks for it.
If this story is completed, it will affect the end of the main story with respect to the mc's friend daughter.
You have to date (and help) her!
The coworker Plot
A pretty redhead girl who needs to pretend she has a boyfriend for her parents, mc takes action, in this story the mc finds out that the father of this girl can solve problem that the mc has in life. The purpose of the story is to get her pregnant. It doesn't affect the ending very much unless you choose to stay with her.

Also there are three special characters that are related to the secondary stories. If you complete them you will have a little extra cotent with those characters.

The 0.5 public release is two chapters long? Does that mean that this game is intended to be 4 chapters long in total?
Chapter 1 was a fun time. In chapter 2, the writing completely disintegrates.
I get that this is SUPPOSED to be an incest game, but until you allow the player to redefine the relationships in game, the script is unreadable garbage. I know that will make you all defensive, and respond with, "the incels don't seem to mind," but THEY aren't reading your words!
Let me show you the issue:
When the MC meets Isabella, he is all freaked out about meeting the daughter of a "friend." Why? I've met a bunch of my friends' children, nothing at all to be concerned about.
He decides (for some idiotic reason) to just lie to the girl every time he opens his mouth. It telegraphs the inevitable "You've been LYING to me. I can't trust you. I HATE YOU!" You, me, and EVERYONE else knows that is your great big act 2 cliffhanger.
Let me re-write that bit for you here. We'll pick up after the game, when you have the moron tell her that he wants to date her, except I'm going to write the scenario COMPETENTLY.
Isabella: Then what do you want, you creepy old pervert.
MC: I'm not a pervert Isabella. I saw your grandmother today, and she told me about you. I was you father's best friend (brother). So I came to watch you play. Wow, you're really good.
Isabella: You're a liar. My mother never told my grandmother who he was.
MC: I'm not lying. How else would I know who you are, where you would be, or that you never knew your father. As for what your grandmother might have told you, all that I can say is that you should probably ask her those questions.
Do you see how simple it was to establish an introduction between these two WITHOUT fucking shit up? No awkwardness at all. Incest is still a possibility. And the MC has established that the girl CAN trust him when push comes to shove.
---But NO---
You have Agatha kidnap the two of them. Keep them knocked out for hours, and move them to a private island that has to be a BARE MINIMUM of 20 miles off shore, or they could just stand on the island and SEE civilization.
I point this out, because a person unconscious for that amount of time is a serious medical emergency. (For the MC, he was rendered unconscious from blunt force trauma. He was actually killed on that street corner. But let's PRETEND not)
So you have Isabella float the idea of "Do you think the police are looking for us?"
And the MC is like, "Gee, if anybody noticed me missing that could happen"
Are you seriously suggesting to me that the MC's girlfriend, Kate, Andy, Oscar, Amanda, and Oliver are ALL going to just assume that the MC took a vacation without telling A FUCKING SOUL?!? No missing persons reports? No wellness checks? Nobody noticed the empty cubicle at work?
Are you suggesting that Isabella's teammates, coach, college friends, basketball fans, and potential stalkers don't notice HER missing?
Or is everybody just on Agatha's payroll suddenly? Simply because you couldn't use 5 minutes and 10 brain cells to come up with "let the people define the relationships" for themselves.
If I was the MC, I would fuck the dog shit out of my daughter on the island, and then see that cunt Agatha die in fucking prison for her crimes! Me and my daughter get the best relationship ever, all of the old bitch's money, AND I get my revenge.
But, NO, all you could come up with was, "If my hot, bisexual, harem loving girlfriend finds out that I know my dead best friend's hot cum dumpster of a daughter, IT WILL RUIN MY LIFE!" (OMG, are you a 14 year old GIRL?!?)

I downloaded 0.5 and I do not have an option to start a new game. The only option is "Load" and there are no saved files to load.

I don't know if it's just me, but my game only has the two chapters and has much less content than the previous version.
I activated the Walkthrough bit but it doesn't seem to make a difference.
Such a shame, the game is no more to me with changes. I actually really enjoyed this game. Just sad. My only hope is to see the true version someday, but I won't hold my breath. 😞😥
this is unnecessary. overdramatic. He made it this way so we are able to keep having it available to us. If its that much of a big deal to u try imagining it saying ur daughter or whatever... so rude... Verde (and any other creator for that matter) takes the time to make these for all of us. if u have time to complain about something u arnt doing, then go make ur own game... see if u can match even a quarter of these creators energy put into these...

The orginal intent/story of this game was our daughter, not friend's daughter, so I should just accept the story change? And the original reason I played the game, no more? The answer is also, NO!
I am not required to like this game. I am not required to appreciate this game. I am not required to accept or respect the dev or his decision in the changes. I played this game for the original story, not some watered down shell of itself. And Verde took the time to make these changes, which in turn, ruined the story, good for him, should of just abandoned it then.

Will the chapters have the same content or will there be chapters that cover much more history?
So I gave it some thought. I know there was previously discord regarding the night scenes in the newest release, and I don't know if you have come to a decision on how to handle that, but I had an idea for you to consider, if you're willing. And it's something you could do without (I believe) affecting the plot in any way.
Both scenes do feel forced and unnatural. However, I understand you were hesitant about giving an update with limited sexual content. So how about, instead, another dream sequence?
During the night, he still sees her sleeping with her tits exposed. Drop him groping her and instead just give the option to cover her immediately, or stare at her for a bit longer and cover her after. Regardless of which option he picks, she cracks her eye open for a moment as he is walking away. If he covered her immediately, then she finds it sweet. If he decided to stare first before pulling the blanket up, she once again thinks of him as a pervert, but maybe she's not too upset by that.
Either way, he dreams about her that night, especially if he peeked on her bathing earlier. The dream, and possibly more to follow, reinforce him seeing her in a sexual light. In fact, you could easily slip more dream (or even daydream) sequences in as a way of showing that he can't get her out of his mind. Which would be useful for you anytime you want to add a scene on an otherwise pure story update. It would also help explain why he lets himself fall into a relationship with her.
Give it some thought, dismiss the idea out of hand, either way I thought I would share. I look forward to the next release!

I was so pleased to finally get more content with Isabella! After update 3, I was still not sure if I would buy the game, but now, with this last update, I bought it without any hesitation, especially seeing that we will be with her again in the next update. How can you resist such a beautifull girl? And with such an interesting character. Thank you for that great game. A well deserved 5 stars for me. Eagerly waiting now for the next update.

I purchased both your games and was incredibly disheartened to learn that Meeting Her is dead in the water. Can't say I am happy investing time and money on something I will never see a conclusion to. I Quite like Lost Daughter as well but fear that too will not go anywhere. I would be happy to support you on Subscribestar however I fear it would be dead money.
The reason I abandoned MH was I was suspended on Patreon, I lost all my month revenue. The only choice I had was start a new game or keep developing MH without support.
About LD it doesn't matter if I say it won't be abandoned but at least I can say that this game is full written already, I the only thing I have to do is render all scenes.
Well thank you for the reply. I am aware of the time and effort that goes into these games. I made a couple of short vns myself as a side project and starting from scratch with RenPy and hand drawing the scenes, it took me quite a while. So yes I get it... disappointed still but I get it. I will give you the benefit of the doubt for now and if I see more updates then I will be happy to help support it's development. Oh and if at all possible please make fetish stuff optional. Not everyone including myself find feet appealing.

I would suggest putting a slider for the text box opacity, or maybe just giving it a hide button shortcut, that text box takes up half the screen on android and is bright as hell.

I second this. Really good stuff. The open relationship wife/gf takes away a lot of potential guilt from most scenarios. Also a thoughtful plot with some interesting characters.

Hubo 2 cosas que hicieron falta (a mi parecer) información sobre los personajes en sí, ya sea con recuerdos o un menú con cada personaje explicando un poco sobre ellos, y la opción de cambiar la opacidad de la barra de texto o opciones en general para la barra de texto, como la altura, opacidad, largo etc.
